YorkGiving 2025

YorkGiving 2025 provided 1,706 families with everything needed for a complete Thanksgiving dinner! Thank you to Catholic Harvest Food Pantry's generous community of donors and 350 volunteers who make this annual holiday distribution possible for our neighbors in need!

Catholic Harvest Food Pantry powered YorkGiving, a community Thanksgiving food distribution held the Saturday before Thanksgiving—Saturday, November 22—at the York Expo Center. YorkGiving allowed more than 1,600 York households to register to receive a turkey and side dishes to prepare and enjoy Thanksgiving at home.

YorkGiving required the efforts of over 350 volunteers to support an annual event of this scale. Volunteers contributed in many ways at the York Expo Center, beginning Wednesday, November 19, through Distribution Day and the weekend, including Catch-Up Day on Monday, November 24. Volunteer roles included making and filling food boxes, event setup, traffic coordination, meal distribution, and delivery teams who brought Thanksgiving meals directly to the homes of individuals unable to travel to the York Expo Center. Delivery teams were an especially great opportunity for families, friends, and groups to volunteer together.
